President's Message
"My Goals"

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

It is universally agreed that Calgary West's suceess over the long term depends on our having a strong and vibrant membership. To that end, our primary focus this year will be on membership with a view to adding 25 new members and to reinvigorate our existing membership base.

Even though the prospect of growing, strengthening and invigorating our membership is exciting, I wish to emphasize that these initiatives will not be successful without the continued, invaluable work of our remaining 60+ committees. To be an exemplary Rotary Club that actively supports the ideals of RI through fun and fellowship, we must all pull together.

I want to thank you all for your courage and sacrifice in moving the goals of Calgary West forward. Clearly we have taken the RI President's theme to heart by recognizing that indeed "The Future of Rotary is in Our Hands."

On a personal note, I would like to thank you all for your ongoing warm-hearted support of Cindy and me. We are truly touched by your kind sentiments.
