School Partnership: Chairperson - Walter Krawciw
A Poster Contest will be run at Central Memorial High School to introduce our youth programs. The posters will be designed by the students and invite students in grades 10 to 12 to participate in Ryla, Rypen, Student Exchange, Adventure in Citizenship and the Four Way test. It will indicate the objective of each, the month when each program will be held, how many students will be selected for each program and who and when they should apply. It will show the Rotary wheel, pictures of students participating, be about 12x16 inches in size, colorful and be eye catching. It will direct the applicant to the vice principals office for more info and application forms.

RYLA/RYPEN/Adventures in Citizenship: Chaired by Kurt Schurer, Bruce Taylor, Saadat Keshavjee
Calgary West sent three students to the September RYPEN Camp. Plans are being made for the 2010 RYLA and RYPEN camps.

Funding has been presented. A report will be provided to the committee so we can follow up with and inform the board on the use of funds.

Four-Way Speech Contest: Chairperson - Carolyn Christison
This year the contest will be staged in the Spring of 2010.
