Bob Kerr introduced our speaker, Christian Cormier. Christian is a graduate of the University of Montreal and holds a masters degree from the University of Paris.

The West LRT will be eight kilometeres long, with six stations. It will run underground and be elevated.
Since 2006, there have been 120 meetings to explain the process and receive feedback. The contract was issued to SNC Lavalin in 2009. Completion date will be 2012. Until then if you wish to go or to come from the west, make plans. Christian told us that there will be delays and problems.
Stops at Sunalta; elevated 26th Street station; Shaganappi Golf course, south side; Westbrook station; 45th Street station; AMA. Sirocco - 450 parking stalls and 69th Street Station. And Mayor Bronconnier won't cut the ribbon.
